The AALAS Foundation proudly presents the Swimming for Science contest!

As we gear up for the 2025 AALAS National Meeting in Long Beach, California, we invite you to unleash your creativity by painting and decorating a 12.5" wooden shark! Whether you're inspired by the ocean's mysteries, the vibrant culture of Long Beach, or the spirit of scientific discovery, this is your chance to transform a blank wooden shark into a masterpiece.

Join the fun, showcase your artistic talents, and support the AALAS Foundation all at once!

An official wooden shark will be shipped to each contestant upon registration and payment of the entry fee. All entry fees and proceeds will benefit the AALAS Foundation and its mission.
